and دادرسي كيفري criminal action : Criminal actions, usually styled prosecutions, are of a public nature, in the name of the Queen, against one or more individuals accused of a crime – JBS. Criminal actions are such as are instituted by the sovereign power (ie government), for the purpose of punishing or preventing offenses against the public – HCB. • criminal proceeding : One instituted and conducted for the purpose either of preventing the commission of crime, or for fixing the guilt of a crime already committed and punishing the offender.
